Letters must be no longer than 350 words. Writers are limited to one letter every 30 days. The News-Miner does not publish letters copied to the editor, complaints about poor service from businesses, letters deemed libelous or in poor taste, or letters written primarily to advertise events or reference material. Letters from Outside are published only if they comment on Alaska issues and are from representatives of well-established organizations or from recent visitors to the state. The Daily News-Miner reserves the right to edit or reject letters.
